Terms of Service
By using the Constitutional Conservatives of South Carolina website (including donate pages and members-only sections), you agree to our Terms of Service. These terms explain acceptable use of the site and our legal limits.
The content on this site is owned by Constitutional Conservatives of South Carolina or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark. You may browse and download material for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without permission. All logos, photos, articles, and reports are the property of Constitutional Conservatives of South Carolina. If you submit any content (such as forum posts or comments), you warrant you own it or have permission, and you grant us a license to use it.
You agree not to misuse the site. This includes any illegal activity, harassment, spamming, or uploading harmful material. You may not use the site to endorse or oppose candidates (outside of authorized communications) or to solicit funds for other organizations without consent. Violation of these rules may result in suspension of your account or removal of content.
We provide the site “as is” with no warranties. Constitutional Conservatives of South Carolina expressly disclaims all warranties (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) for use of the site. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or content (to the fullest extent allowed by law). In other words, we do not promise the site will always be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not responsible if something goes wrong when you use it. These limitations mirror those in other organizations’ terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms. In such cases, the disclaimers and liability limits above will survive termination. If you disagree with our Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the site.
If you have questions or need to contact us about these policies, our contact info is available on the site. We may update these Terms from time to time; any changes will be posted, and continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms. Typically we govern this agreement under the laws of South Carolina (or another agreed jurisdiction).
We will prominently link our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (or Terms & Conditions) on the website footer. Any fundraising page will link to these documents and explicitly state required FEC notices. Emails and materials will provide unsubscribe instructions and contact info. In sum, all legally required disclosures (FEC disclaimers, IRS notices, CAN-SPAM compliance, etc.) will be incorporated into our site content and communications as outlined above.
(Our disclosures follow Federal Election Commission guidance on disclaimers and fundraising notices, FTC guidance on email marketing, and best practices for privacy/security . These policies ensure full legal compliance for the CCSC PAC’s website and communications.)
