A step-by-step walkthrough of signing up for CCSC membership.
4 stepsHow members participate in open votes.
4 stepsHow to sign in with Google, phone, or a magic email link.
4 stepsA quick primer before you attend your first CCSC event.
4 stepsMembership is $100/year and includes full voting rights on organizational decisions, discounted event tickets, exclusive updates, and a stronger voice in our community.
Sign in or create an account, then follow the on-screen steps to acknowledge membership terms, add a payment method, and confirm. See the "Becoming a Member" guide below for a full walkthrough.
Membership is a flat $100 per year, billed once when you join and again each year on your renewal date. There's no monthly plan — one payment covers the full year of benefits.
Yes — membership renews automatically each year using the payment method on file so your benefits and voting rights never lapse. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from Members > Billing.
Yes. Sign in and go to Members > Billing to cancel. Your benefits and voting rights remain active through the end of the period you already paid for.
We'll retry the charge and email you if it continues to fail. Update your card under Members > Billing before the retry window closes to avoid a gap in your membership.
Not through the automated checkout yet — send us a message through the support form below with the recipient's name and email and we'll set it up manually.
Any member with an active membership can vote on open items. Sign in and visit Members > Voting to see everything currently open.
After you cast a vote you'll see an on-screen confirmation. Your participation is recorded against your member account so you can't vote twice on the same item.
No — once a vote is cast it is final and cannot be edited or resubmitted, the same way a ballot works in a real election.
Results are published on the vote item itself once it closes, and summarized for members through our email updates.
Organizational decisions like leadership elections, resolutions, and major policy positions go to a member vote — see our Resolutions page for examples of past outcomes.
Voting items only appear once the board opens them for a set window. Check back, or watch your email — we announce new votes as soon as they open.
Open the event from the Events page and follow the checkout flow. Members receive discounted pricing automatically when signed in.
Most events are casual — check-in at the door with your name or ticket QR code, mingle with fellow members, and expect a short program with speakers or updates. See the "What to Expect at Your First Event" guide below.
Reach out through the support form below with your event and order details as soon as you know you can't attend — refunds are handled case by case, and the earlier we hear from you the better.
Most events welcome guests — the event page will say if it's members-only. Guests generally pay the non-member ticket price.
Your ticket is emailed at checkout, and you can always pull it back up under Members > Tickets while signed in.
We'll email every registered attendee right away with the new details, and refund tickets automatically for events that are cancelled outright.
Memberships paid outside our online system still need an account linked to your email before you can sign in. Use the support form below and we'll get your account connected.
You can sign in with Google, a one-time code texted to your phone, or a magic sign-in link emailed to you — no password required for any of them.
First check your spam folder for the email link, and confirm your phone can receive SMS. If it still doesn't arrive after a couple of minutes, try the other sign-in method or reach out below.
Not directly from your account settings yet — send us a message below with your current and new email and we'll make the change for you.
Accounts are locked for security reasons, such as suspicious sign-in activity. Contact support below with your account email and we'll review and unlock it.
Every sign-in method already requires a second factor you control — a code sent to your phone, or a link sent to your inbox — so there's no separate 2FA toggle to turn on.
Yes — sign in the same way on any phone, tablet, or computer. You can review and sign out of active sessions from Members > Account.
No — contributions to CCSC are not tax-deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes. See our Disclosures page for full details.
Sign in and go to Members > Billing to update your card or view past charges.
Not as a separate recurring donation yet — an annual membership is currently our recurring contribution option. For a one-time gift, visit our Donate page any time.
A receipt is emailed automatically right after your donation goes through. Can't find it? Check spam, or ask us to resend it via the support form below.
Yes — contact us below with your donation date and amount and we'll take care of it.
We only disclose what's legally required — federal law requires us to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of donors whose aggregate contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. See our Disclosures page for the full policy.
Refresh the page, then try a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R) to clear a stale cached version. If that doesn't help, try a different browser and let us know what you're seeing below.
Not yet — the site is fully mobile-friendly, so everything (sign-in, voting, tickets, billing) works the same from your phone's browser.
This usually means cookies are being blocked — check that your browser (or an extension) isn't clearing cookies or blocking third-party cookies for this site, especially in private/incognito mode.
Check your spam or promotions folder first, then add our address to your contacts. If it's still missing, let us know the email address you signed up with below.
The current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all work well. If you're on an older or unsupported browser you may see layout issues — updating usually fixes it.
